The Blue Rose pattern is the firm's emblem. The lid is pierced, so incense can be burned with it closed, and the piece comes with incense ash in a wooden box.

Details

Maker: Ōkura Tōen (大倉陶園), for Koju (香十)

Material: white porcelain with oka-zome underglaze blue

Size: approx. 11.1 × 11.1 × 10.3 cm; opening approx. 8.5 cm

Includes: incense ash (approx. 50 g)

Box: wooden box, approx. 12.5 × 12.5 × 9.6 cm

Condition: new

Watch: Okura Toen's traditional techniques

A film on the porcelain-making techniques of Okura Toen, from the company's official channel.
